Add Bluetooth Audio and Inductive Charging to Your Car

Bluetooth audio in your car makes it easy to push music from your phone to your car's stereo system, but you lose out on those benefits when you still have to plug in to charge. Reader and DIYer Ryan Wold solved this problem by installing an inductive charger inside his vehicle.

Ryan didn't have Bluetooth in his car already, so he needed to purchase an adapter. The problem with most adapters, however, is that they require you to press a button to connect each time. When you want to mount your adapter under a dashboard, you can't exactly push that button. Thanks to the HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Receiver, Ryan was able to hide it under his dash and just tap his phone on the surface to connect. On top of that, he wired an NFC charger into his car to allow wireless charging as well. The entire setup doesn't see too difficult to pull off, costs very little, and appears completely integrated with his car. If you want to try this yourself, check out his video above for instructions.
